I'm not impressed:
Why does the inventory window open when I open my cargo hold in space? I'm use to having this window on minimal size, as at 1366x768 my screen is small enough - now there is barely space for the actual item sub-window.
Then how can I open two or more container windows next to each other? I liked the impression of having different rooms in my hangar, i.e. called "Supply Bay", "Storage", "Lounge", "Library". Thanks for blowing up my immersion.
Any hints on how to keep an old mutiple container pattern going? |

What I do not understand in general is why most CCP "improvements" kill the former way of usage.
Would it have been a major problem having the inventory alongside single windows options? Even our beloved Windows OS is still able to do that (Explorer + single Windows).
Reminds me of Incarna when the Captain's Quarters was not only offered, but actually erased the hangar view (erased it so badly that it had to be rebuilt - and badly at that - anyone who has had a closer look at the Amarr landing pad will know what I mean...).
I mean, I will not quit over the current changes, and I will certainly find some use for them, but well. There are features I personally have no need for.
Okay, it's progress, change is not already bad. And I bet there are a good deal of those stereotypical players that rejoice because of the inventory (being stereotypically ladden with stuff that has never been sorted through before - sorry couldn't resist ).
TL;DR: Not impressed, not quite angry, basically meh... |

Okay, Shift-klicking lets you somehow simulate the former behaviour in ways of single windows. Memorized window-positions are a bit erratic still, but I guess I will figure out a way. I haven't checked what happens between undocking and docking, but I'll see.
And once you minimized the inventory menue on the left you actually have enough space to view the items. |

While I agree that companies don't need certain customers, most companies need every customer they can get.
A positive sign - CCP is doing well enough to be choosy. |
